Case Study: Mary
Helen McCoy, Fine Antiques

Changing markets and new opportunities call
for a shop relocation. For Mary Helen McCoy, Fine Antiques
and Interiors, this meant a move from Mountain Brook,
Birmingham, Alabama into a new, larger gallery space in
downtown historic Charleston, South Carolina.
Closing of the old shop coincided with the
close of the calendar year, but the new space would not be
ready until late February. Mizzentop accommodated this
relocation with a combination of transportation and interim
storage. Using Mizzentop's
temperature-controlled transport
and storage ensured conservation of temperature-sensitive
porcelains and paintings until the new installation began in
Charleston.

"I use
Mizzentop because of the care used in handling our antique
furniture. . . . very professional. . . . They tailor their
services to meet our particular needs." — Mary Helen McCoy
